All pupils study Mathematics to Key Stage 4 and it is a popular subject chosen by students post 16.

The KS3 curriculum is based on the Key Maths scheme with investigational work included to enhance the work from the books and to add variety to the approach to teaching Mathematics.

In KS4 the department uses books produced by Brian Speed whilst for the popular A Level course we use the texts that have recently been produced by the WJEC, designed specifically for that A Level.

Pupils work enthusiastically on the Mathematics and many attend the extra-curricular clubs to support and extend their work.
