Creative Arts Faculty
The Creative Arts Faculty is situated in its own block and enjoys excellent facilities. It consists of the subjects areas of Art and Design, Musci, Drama / Dance and IT Media. All subjects are increasingly popular with the pupils due to their outstanding success and the setting of high standards. |
| Music |
 The school is well known for the quality of its music. Many students take advantage of instrumental and singing lessons with a strong peripatetic music team. There are numerous ensembles, which perform regularly at school concerts and in the local and wider community. |
| Art & Design |
 The quality of the art at Maesteg is outstanding. The Annual Art Exhibition is very popular with students, parents and the community. The department participates in regular visits to museums and galleries. The school is exceedingly proud of the artwork, which is displayed around the school.
