Maesteg is an 11-19 co-educational school set in pleasant surroundings with specialist facilities for all subject areas. We have a skilled and dedicated staff enabling our pupils to be taught in a well disciplined and caring environment.

We have high expectations of our pupils and are here to help each child fully realise her/his potential and talents and to develop in each one self-worth, self-discipline, a sense of responsibility and respect for others.

We enjoy excellent support from the community we serve, including local business. We place considerable emphasis on forming good relationships between parents and staff and recognise this partnership is supportive to a child's success. We have an active Parent Teacher Association which gives support with fundraising and in arranging educational and social events.

We welcome parents contacting the school and we hold regular Parents Meetings. We produce a termly Newsletter to keep parents informed of school successes and forthcoming events.

We know that we are providing our pupils with a quality education and we intend to continue to improve on our achievements in order to provide our children with the best education to learn to live.

We are proud of our pupils and their successes and we look forward to their future achievements as successful young women and men of our community.
