The department has purpose built facilities for all areas of D&T, which include Graphics, Textiles, Catering, Resistant Materials, Systems / Control, CAD / CAM. Stafe 3 pupils follow modular courses. KS4 pupils follow a wide range of courses offering all pupils a technological opportunity that allows progression into AS / A Level.
The Faculty currently has 8 teaching staff with technical support provided for staff and pupils by our full time technician.A range of subjects is offered and delivered and within each area various topics are pursued.At Key Stage 3 a carousel operates allowing pupils to experience a variety of areas including Electronics, Pneumatics, Resitant Materials, Graphics, Structures,Food Technology,Textiles.
