A Level and GCSE Results Concerns

Information regarding concerns over A Level & GCSE results.

Information concerning appeals against summer 2020 exam results can be found by accessing the Qualifications Wales website here. There is also a PDF explanation about appeals and complaints available from Welsh Government here.

Qualifications Wales direct that appeals regarding a Centre Assessed Grade which was awarded by the school must in the first instance be directed towards the school via the school’s usual complaints policy. You can find the Maesteg School policy here.

You will note that the complaints policy states that the school will always try to deal with concerns in an informal matter in the first instance.  Therefore if you have raised a concern regarding a Centre Assessed Grade, a member of school staff will contact you as soon as possible (when we return in September.)
